Real Estate Partners AS was founded in 2012 as Regent Eiendomsmegling. The name has been new since 2017 — the company, the agent and the phone number are the same.

The founder

Øyvind Olstad had worked for almost 20 years as an estate agent and run several offices before he started Regent in 2012. He also built up the Lifestyle fair and Lifestyle Magazine, and has developed high-end property in Norway and abroad. He asked the question above when Christie's chose him — and it still holds: the buyer for your home isn't necessarily only looking on FINN.

  1. 1766

    Christie's, London

    James Christie opens the auction house that becomes the world's oldest for art and antiques. That is where the hammer comes from.

  2. 2012

    Regent Eiendomsmegling

    Øyvind Olstad founds Regent Eiendomsmegling AS and opens an office on the corner of Niels Juels gate and Frognerveien. The company becomes Christie's International Real Estate's affiliate in Norway.

  3. 2017

    Real Estate Partners

    Regent Eiendomsmegling AS changes its name to Real Estate Partners AS — same company, same organisation number.

  4. I dag

    Hoffsveien 78

    The office is at Hoff, between Skøyen and Smestad — in the middle of west Oslo, with Frognerkilen just below.

Christie's International Real Estate

Why Christie's chose Regent.

Christie's International Real Estate is owned by Christie's, the world's oldest auction house for art and antiques, founded in London in 1766. The network brings together agents specialising in high-end property in more than 40 countries.

When the network established itself in Norway in 2012, the choice fell on Øyvind Olstad and the newly founded Regent Eiendomsmegling, with an office at Frogner. The ambition was to offer Norwegian sellers the same as other agents — with an international profile on top.
